A BURGLAR demanded money from the occupiers of a house during an attempted midnight burglary.

It is understood a man, possibly two, gained entry to an address in Forest Road, Greenstead, shortly after midnight on April 2.

A window and glass door were damaged, as was a display cabinet during the incident.

Essex Police says the burglar, who is believed to have long, black hair, demanded money from the people inside the property but left empty handed.
